Masterclass - Candle and Diffuser Making ticket

A very detailed and practical workshop ideal for those who love DIY or keen to start their own business.

Session 1

The first 3.5 hours workshop covers the following:

• How to make luxury scented candles
• Equipment to use for candle-making
• Different types of wax and which one to use
• How to measure your wax
• Wick and dye selection
• Which fragrance to add and at what pouring temperature do we add fragrance.
• Scent selection -  essential oils versus fragrance oils
• Measuring your fragrance oil accurately
• Mistakes to avoid during candle-making

Both candles made in class are for the participants to enjoy at home.

Session 2

This session of the workshop is aimed at crafting home fragrances. 

This is where participants will craft their reed diffusers and room & linen mists and have it customised to reflect their love of scents. The theory behind scents is covered extensively to equip participants with thorough knowledge on how to select scents suitable for different occasions/spaces.

The lesson will also cover the following:

1. Introduction to diffusers, room sprays and car air fresheners
2. Components of diffusers
3. Types of scents
4. Types of vessels and reed sticks
5. suitable bases for diffuser, room spray and car air freshener
6. Care, maintenance and proper usage.
